Hull and Oates

                            Kent Hull                                                                    Bart Oates

                                          Darryl Hall                                    John Oates
A decade after the musical duo Hall and Oates were taking the charts by storm in the late 70's and early 80's, another talented two-some released a string of hits as well. The similarly named Hull and Oates took the NFL by storm in the late 80's and early 90's. But the similarities don't stop there my friend.

Hall and Oates racked up eight top-30 albums, while Hull and Oates amassed eight pro bowl appearances.
Hall and Oates had released six #1 singles, and Hull and Oates combined to play in seven Super Bowls.

Much like Hall and Oates' 1976 album, Hull and Oates together played in a 1991 game which was "Bigger Than Both of Them." Unlike Hall and Oates, only Bart Oates became the Rich Girl after the victory.
While Hall and Oates still tour today, Hull and Oates only reunited two times after that Super Bowl, but they had left their mark in the NFL as successful centers!

RIP Kent Hull
